What this desk collects
There are no accounts, comments or checkout on Scanthimble. Hosting and security services necessarily receive technical request details such as an IP address, requested page and browser information. We use those records to serve and protect the site, not to assemble a family-photo database.
Photographs you bring
The public guides do not ask you to upload your pictures. Your own scanning, storage and sharing choices happen outside this site. Review the privacy settings of any service you choose before sharing a reproduction.
Outside links and contact
A link to another service transfers you to that provider's terms. When the editorial mailbox is verified and shown, messages sent to it will be used to respond and retained as needed for correspondence. We do not claim a fixed retention period without verifying the provider setting.
